Paintings Events New Work Contact

For me, painting has been an engaging journey of study, observation, and reflection. It has also presented me with wonderful opportunties for travel, friendships and adventure.

I am attracted by the effect of light as it travels across land and although I sometimes choose wildlife or people for my subject matter, the natural landscape is my first choice.

I have been fortunate enough to be Artist-in-Residence at two national parks; Buffalo National River and Acadia National Park. I have taught adults drawing, pastel and oil painting in Fayetteville for Adult Education in Arkansas. I am a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and Artists of Northwest Arkansas. My work is on the cover of The Best of Art & Artisans, Published by Kennedy Publishing 2006 and a pastel is among the permanent collection of the Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, Missouri.
